Every adventure needs a goal. On the Polka Dot Tours we aim to sample all the best things about travelling in Europe while riding a legendary climb every day. In a 60km ride each day you experience all the drama of riding roads made famous by races like the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia. And there's more than pedalling up-hill. For one there is riding down the other side, plus the itinerary has lots of flexibility so you can choose how much to take on each day, there's plenty of time to sample the delights of bakeries, cafés, restaurants, and savour local ambiance. Every day the scenery is spectacular. A spacious coach is used on some days to speed the travel between rides. On and off the bike, cycling guides look after you and your bicycle. The Tours start and finish in cities with airports, fast train connections and we are always close to the mountains. The Polka Dot Tours (PDT) are timed so your rides are not delayed by race road closures. You can continue your journey after the PDT to watch the pro riders in action.
